In addition to years of mineral law practice, we strive to remain up-to-date on industry standards and developments by participating in conferences and workshops, and serving on committees who address issues relevant to the energy industry. George Mason has worked on mineral rights legislation in Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, and Louisiana, as well as federal legislation, and has a strong presence in many industry related organizations. (See Memberships to the right.) Mr. Mason is also a Trustee of the Energy and Mineral Law Foundation (EMLF), and often serves as a presenter and/or moderator at the EMLF annual institutes and annual mineral law conferences. Most recently, on October 22, 2012, Mr. Mason was a speaker and panel moderator at the EMLF's Kentucky Mineral Law Conference. His presentation and materials will be posted to the "Published Works" section soon.
